Named after Star Trek’s Romulan race, Romulan will take you higher than the stars!

This indica-dominant hybrid got its name from quick-thinking tokers. Many claimed its intense effects could “dent your head” and give it ridges. Like the wrinkles of the Romulan! Say what you want, but stoners are nothing if not creative.

That said, its exact genetics remains a mystery. What we do know is that Federation Seeds cloned the strain in 1996. Once cloned, they crossbred Romulan with another popular and well-known strain, White Rhino. They continued crossbreeding until only 3% of the original White Rhino genetics remained.

There is a theory that Romulan could be a distant relative of Afghani landrace strains. That said, nothing concrete beyond rumours has come from this concept.
